Lorraine Makasini rocked when she spoke at Profitable Marketing Meetup!
Believe it or not, I am spending a Wednesday evening at home. Wednesday’s are normally busy evenings for top events in Sydney and with my winning workload, I have decided to take an evening out to recharge.
I am enjoying time with my wonderful family and as I sit back and reflect like I love doing, I have been thinking about lasts night Profitable Marketing Meetup. It rocked, everyone made it just wonderful and we are all a powerhouse group of winners.
Lorraine Makasini is a wonderful friend and she was our heroic guest speaker last night and she was wonderful. As we told the room, this was her biggest speaking gig to date and she got thunderous applause and did a great job.
I kept thinking about why she won big and how she did it. There were quite a few reasons in unpacking how she won over the audience (and myself). You can tell that Lorraine was:
– Extremely passionate.
– An obvious expert on her subject topic.
– Loved people and wanted to help them.
– Completely authentic and gave Jesus a shout out.
– Brilliant in making relevant points.
My advice and thinking? You can learn lots by watching other people push themselves and take risks. Now Lorraine has spoken in front of 50+ people, she will now have to do 200+ and more.
She rocks, I love her work and make sure you connect with her.
