Starbucks Coffee is a very productive environment I have found!
I rediscovered them during my recent trip to New York as a VIP to the Meetup Togetherfest. As I went from meeting to meeting in New York, Starbucks became my ‘safe zone’. As the streets were cold, they had REALLY FAST WiFi with also ‘charging pads’ in some of their venues. I would dive in there any chance I would get.
You had these charging zones where I put my phone on there and it charged almost as quickly as being plugged in (even through a Silicone Rubber casing). Starbucks became a ‘virtual office’ for me as I roamed New York.
This weekend however, I found a new Starbucks coffee open at Westfield Parramatta (Western Sydney). I had about 90 minutes to wait for my family to visit for lunch and like the stereotype; I went to Starbucks and worked away.
It was extremely productive! I was drinking an Earl Grey Tea (with Soy, Venti Size) and even got a PowerPoint done on my Surface Pro 4. It felt right, I was comfortable, the seating was great and I got more done.
My advice and thinking? Starbucks Coffee can be a great place to get work done. I found it extremely useful in New York and even in good old Parramatta when I had some time up my sleeve.
Getting more done as an entrepreneur is everything! It saves you being up late all night (believe me).
Love your work, thank you for the read and stay awesome friends!
