Today was an incredibly hot day in Sydney. It did hit 44 degrees today as I was working out in the Sub-Tropical heat and I got a great request in today. One of my friends and awesome supporters Khadine Aharon is working on her new website with the support of Awesome Martha Arifin.
As we were speaking today, Khadine asked for my help in giving her an authentic testimonial for some of the work she has done for me when I have been “Her Client”, give commentary on her work with 4Networking Members and also her on stage “Speech Craft” abilities.
Whenever I get testimonial requests in, the first thing I do is get them out as quickly as possible. Be it old staff from my old Corporate Days asking for testimonials (I helped one the other week! She is an awesome anonymous woman who shall remain nameless), suppliers asking for help or the like – to me, it’s absolutely critical giving testimonials to others when they deserve them.
Why? Besides it’s great to be a nice person, whenever you give someone a testimonial you are promoting yourself! Let’s say it’s a video on their website, a comment where you shall appear in Google Searches or even when you get “Etched in Stone” on a Corporate Profile or printed document.
In the case of Khadine’s testimonial, I even put it on my Facebook Page as a Video in which the post has already been seen by over 500+ people. It’s good for her, and good for me and everyone is happy. Also – even though I know she does like me, she perhaps may like me that “1%” more enticing her to refer someone to me!
My advice and thinking? Business and life is all give, give and a bit of take. My business is totally rocking these days which I am eternally grateful for (especially as I have lived in my car at times in my life and been unemployed). One key reason I think this is because of my own generosity to support others. Build your team, back them, support them and you create awesome people on your side to help you get even more awesome results!
Love your work and check out her fine review in this article!
