Hello Awesome People!
After having done many years of Marketing, once being in the Military and also serving as a Federal Agent – you never know what’s around the corner sometimes. I don’t mean this in a “Scary” way, but actually an “Awesomely Scary” way in that sometimes you are just going about your Business and Great Opportunities can come almost out of nowhere.
Be it you are sitting with a Client and receive an unexpected awesome Referral, a simple “Coffee Meeting” turns into a new Client, being invited to appear on TV (yay, this is happening), a great “Photo Opportunity” or even a surprise Profitable phone call for being Invited to partake in something greater than anything you have previously experienced, it will happen if you have been doing the things Right and Ethically.
What I have learned is that it’s Critical when it comes to putting yourself out there wholeheartedly, and never put Limits on what to expect. In fact, I have found that it’s really Important to keep both eyes & ears open all the time and be sensitive to Strong Opportunities that come your way.
When we start a Business (especially as we are learning a new craft) it can be really hard to be sensitive, prepared and ready for unexpected and exciting Opportunities. After several years of of Experience doing what I am doing – I’m not only getting a higher Sales Conversion Rate, but I have Developed the ability to ask the Right Questions and often Uncover Opportunities that I say wouldn’t be able to do in the past.
My Advice and Thinking? As you go about your Business, think Carefully about what you want and what you are looking for, especially in terms of Clientele. In my case, I have a Passion for “Public Speaking” and it is very Important to me – I often Ask around, or am Very Sensitive to keeping my Feelers out for Places and groups of People I can speak to. As a Result of this, I have managed to Procure many speaking Opportunities of late – and all I can say is that, the More the Merrier!
Always be open, be ready and when the Right Opportunities come along – Pounce on it and very Quickly. You want to Pick It Up before someone else does!
