Eli Huang is one Awesome Operator and it was a pleasure speaking at the Australian Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine Association today!

It’s been one very cool Sunday for me. I was very lucky to speak to a great 50+ people today with the Australian Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA).

I have been very lucky to know Eli Huang and get invited to speak there on one of my favourite topics – Small Business Sales & Marketing! I do lots of public speaking these days and I have had all sorts of groups.

Each of varying levels of ‘Greatness’, I totally loved the AACMA Crowd today.

They were Acupuncturists & Chinese Medicine Specialists and it was awesome talking marketing with all these fine people. Even though, quite a few weren’t that technically savvy – they asked amazingly intelligent questions.

That is, I have spoken at some events which the crowd isn’t that engaged. These people were awesome and they really got ‘Marketing’ at that deeper conceptual level.

In short, this reminded me as to the importance of asking the ‘right questions’. I charge several hundreds dollars per hour to Consult and people got that – so they took advantage of the opportunity to benefit from what I knew and loved it.

When it comes to business, marketing, entrepreneurship and the like – it hinges off having great knowledge and the latest ideas. Especially when it comes to Marketing – it’s a rapidly moving space and one must be forever be learning new ideas and solving key problems. To me, it comes to a level of being ‘Open-Minded’.

Marketing is forever changing and I never pretend to have all the answers – it would be like assuming an English Teacher knows the definition of every word in the dictionary. I find I have to keep a ‘blank slate’ mentally, continually question my views and be open to new ideas.

My advice and thinking? Always ask questions – and great intelligent questions. You are much more likely to get a higher quality answer.

Love your work, thank you for the read, thank you so much to the AACMA attendees today and stay awesome!
