I am buzzing and SO HAPPY as I write this blog right now. I am worn out and sitting down to enjoy a fine lunch reflecting on a massive win that both the awesome Amy Siah & Nick Rorris had with their successful pilot of their “Digital Transformation” for business (backed up by the CBD Sydney Chamber of Commerce).
As they have “Won Now” it looks very easy, but I can only tell you how much work they and their teams have put into pulling this off and making it successful.
It was actually really hard! I was privileged to help out and even I am worn out after the work and stress that went into it.
The event was well run, people stayed back, many questions were asked and it was a quality experience that I am happy to put my name too. The reason why they won is because of how hard they worked in getting it right.
This is what successful people like Amy & Nick get (that unsuccessful ones don’t). Behind every ‘Overnight Success’ is years of hard work and the more we accept this inconvenient truth is the more we can get inspired, embrace what is required and get the results.
Every now and then someone approaches me wanting me to help them in their business and they don’t want to do any work! I am serious on this point and it totally annoys me. Fortunately it doesn’t happen often, but when someone does I am the first to give them a serious dose of reality.
Winning takes strength, skill work and GUTS! And lots of it.
My advice? Love what you do and go hard. That will set you up to win.
