Always be putting up your hand for wonderful opportunities! The more you lose is the more you win.
I was sitting at my desk playing / working on Facebook and quite a few wonderful people shared some of my content.
I really appreciate that on many levels and although I sometimes miss out on people; I do my best to give personal thanks for those who choose to share what I am about. I love their work and it’s very appreciated!
As I was browsing one of the Facebook Personal Timelines of a new friend, they put up a post that was honey to my ears. They want someone to help educate them on Facebook! That is so me from many points of view being someone who lives out their life in the platform and markets daily.
I instantly put up my hand! I commented on the thread, messaged them and said hello. Will they hire me? Probably, but if not, who cares! The point is that I have put up my hand and I usually get 1 out of 4 opportunities I go for.
My advice and thinking? Put up your hand for opportunities as you see them. Don’t be shy and always be going for help as people as for it. You will miss out on probably 3 out of 4 of them (as do I), but the more you go for is the more you win.
Other people also see you doing it as well and on Social Media; believe me, you are being watched very closely.
Put up your hand, don’t be worried about losing and just be focused on winning.
