As I write this blog, I am feeling extremely guilty and for great reason.
I did a bad thing. A thing which I am not feeling good about and I have chosen to CONFESS to my sins.
I was playing a ‘Squad War’ in ‘Star Wars: Commander; where you and 15 of your team mates take on another team. As you attack each other’s bases, people have a maximum of 3 x Stars / Uplinks to take down.
To get 3 x Stars you need to take down 100% of the base and I stuffed up one of my attacks.
I rushed, didn’t think it through, got hot under the collar and only took out 2 of 3 x Uplinks. Then as my wonderful Squad took their shots, the game is now 44 to 44 (being a tie) which we could lose.
If I did a proper attack it we would have won by now! It is quite painful and I have learned my lesson for the last time. As I have lost out here, it’s going to make me think again the next time I play Star Wars: Commander so I don’t stuff it up again.
In fact, if I reflect on my time with Star Wars, I have become great by losing over and over again! Every time I lose, I learn something new. However, you must manage your frustration. Losing doesn’t feel great, but as we learn the lessons it makes us brilliant.
My advice? Learn to lose! You are going to do it, but each time you learn so it makes you more powerful than you can possibly image. It’s not over as I write this blog, so I beg my team to forgive me.
Love your work, thank you for the read and stay awesome friends!
