All too often there are too many Small Business Owners and Entrepreneurs that are not earning what they really deserve. As I write this article I am in my Hotel Room in Manila and boy – these people know how to sell! A great lesson for me.
Even businesses with ‘Great Marketing’ can be undone very quickly if there isn’t enough selling to get people over the line. What I mean is let’s say you have a Great Product, Awesome Business Cards, Email Marketing, You Blog all the time, You have a Promotion going etc – I have found that you often need that ‘Personal Touch’ to get them over the line (especially in Professional Services).
I talk plenty of Small Business Marketing and Selling in my Online Course ‘The Awesome Marketing Vault’. See how I just sold to you here? x x
What I am getting at in particular here is the importance of that ‘Invitation’ for people to do business with you. Let’s say you sell Websites for a living – many people won’t volunteer to do business with you, you got to ask them first.
This is where many great people get themselves into trouble. Fear of Rejection, Fear of Failure (as was for me) can often inhibit people asking for that sale. I remember when my business was very marginal, I mastered how to sell for myself and boom – all of a sudden I had a stack of extra awesome clients that I totally love.
My advice to you in on this one is really overcome your fears right now and great success is often right in front of us. As you go about Marketing your business, you should keep an eye out for people who really love you but are ‘just on that edge’ of hiring you.
In my case, it can often be a nice phone call inviting them to do business and then you get the Awesome ‘Yes!’.
So don’t be shy people! Go for it. And in walking the talk, check out my Awesome Marketing Vault – 100% Guaranteed and you will love it.
Thank you for the fine read! Hope you enjoyed my active demonstration and don’t worry about people saying no too. Just keep asking and doing the numbers and watch your probability of selling go through the roof!
