I take lots of photos and very few make the cut!
Coming up as I write this article, is the last powerhouse NSW Business Chamber for the year.
It’s great, it’s tremendous, it’s full of top people and I love it. It’s also a very busy time of year and lots of people tend to forget that it’s on and find out the day after I post great photos on Social Media.
I was busy posting on LinkedIn and Facebook that it’s on and I’m totally pumped with everything that is going down. As I was posting it though, I realised that I need a great photo!
I was going through my photos and lots I didn’t like, but then I found the PERFECT ONE.
I must have gone through at least 200 photos to get the right one and that is the big secret of great photos. You have to take lots of them!
Whenever I work with professional photographers too, to say produce those perfect 3 – 5 the client takes, they will have taken at least 200 photos.
My advice and thinking? If you need great photos for what you do, be very trigger happy on the camera. By doing that you will take lots of dud photos, but then you will have some great ones which are just great.
