I am a very lucky man. Tonight I am spending some amazing time with my lovely fiance Jude Dowsett at the beautiful Pullman Hotel on Hyde Park. It’s one beautiful venue, with great staff and management (a kind Assistant Manager by the name of John Dooley who signed us in – he rocks!).
To both of us “2015” is a critical year which we are planning for now. It was only a “Clue” from our creator that “2015” was our room at our Hotel Tonight!
Definitely “Twilight Zone” stuff is going down for us.
What has been amazing to me is the rocky life I have led over the past few years. I have been homeless as a child and as an adult unfortunately quite a few times in my life and what I have learned lately is how fast things can change when you are very much focused on taking ownership of your mistakes and really focusing on what you need to do.
2013 was a year of massive challenge for me on a range of levels and 2014 has been challenging in more positive ways. For me, it has been more in terms of keeping up with work, building automation and driving forward whilst working on my business mindset.
Talking to lovely Jude as well, if you read her story – she was at Centrelink about 3 years ago with a 2 year old (who is now our 5 year old Step-Son) dealing with poverty and trying to survive from weeks to week. It’s probably no surprise we are common souls in that regard (knowing struggle and pain) and what we achieve today has been on the back on sleepless nights, lots of stress and some very long painful months.
My realization as of late is that when you really take responsibility for your own life, create a profitable business of your own and then take EXTREME ACTION every day it doesn’t take long to turn things around.
My advice? Be it sickness, divorce, someone ripping you off or whatever and you have lost the lot – it’s OKAY! Learn the lessons that God is trying to teach you and really take it on board. Come up with a plan, business and approach to help you turn it around and choose to believe in yourself 100% and go for it. Sure, what I am saying is easy from where I am sitting – however it’s what I did when I was in the hole.
What blows me away today is how quickly my life has turned around and also the lovely Judes. With a bit of work and putting your mind to it, anything is possible….
