I have received lots of wonderful compliments lately in terms of how great I look in losing the weight and getting nice and fit.
Of course, I like to hear the compliments, but I also remind myself that I should not have GOT FAT to begin with.
A lot of wonderful people I know have asked how I have done it and of course, talked with me privately as how being fat and disrupted their lives.
I got fat due to getting older and lack of discipline. I went through a massive change in my thinking and behaviour and getting fat has lots of problems far beyond looks. If anything, looks is the least of one’s problems. When I was fat, I would:
- Always have an aching back and knees
- Huff and puff up a flight of stairs
- Sweat at like room temperature
- Run out of energy towards the end of the day
- Look like a burnt-out detective from the 90’s version of NYPD Blue
- Be a bit of a Debbie Downer and more.
- Basically, losing the weight (by watching what I ate after 6PM) slowed the problem combined with some exercise.
My advice and thinking? Don’t get fat. If you do get fat. Just lose it now.
Do it. Trust me. It rocks.
Love your work, burn that fat and smile friends!
