Sharon Grant knows how to run a great event. Hence she wins LOTS
As I sit in Wynyard station waiting for my train home, I am quite impressed at one of Sharon Grant’s top events in Sydney CBD.
If you don’t know Sharon she is a very kind, no bull, straight up, great natured Sales Mentor who I am a massive fan of. As part of her Corporate Citizenship and helping people, she runs her regular networking events that are just fantastic (being free and open to the business community).
In her events she gets great sales and I get asked all the time how does this happen. There are a lot of variables that must be right for an event to tell, so in this simple blog I am writing now on the train – I want to make it as useful as possible for you:
- Get at least 20 people
- Make sure they are there to listen to your exact content
- Give incredible ideas that are just awesome
- Answer their questions
- Look after them
- Offer your services at the end
- Follow up and stay connected
Sharon does this really well and what I also like about her is the way she just cares for people. People feel it and it just makes them want to sign up with her.
My advice and thinking? Do a great job of your events. Make people feel wonderful. Give them great content. Then invite them to work with you.
