Hello Awesome People!
After recently enjoying the Mad Max: Fury Road film it Inspired me to write a blog article about “Old School Basics Combined with New Technology”. The most recent film before this one was Mad Max 3 shot in 1985 with Tina Turner, Mel Gibson and of course the iconic song “We Don’t Need Another Hero”.
Putting aside my Love for Mad Max, the latest film totally Melded the Greatness of the Original Trilogy, combining it with the Latest Digital Visual Effects Technology, Actors, Lingo, Story Line and Budget, making it one Highly Compelling Experience.
This got me Thinking about some of my Successful Clients, who like Mad Max: Fury Road have managed to Combine the Old School “Ethics, Personal Caring and Service” of with today’s Cutting Edge “Technology, Online Flare & Automation Systems” to Deliver Powerful Sustainable Businesses. While I began to write this Blog, I was Signed Up by a new Awesome Workshop Clients, Victoria Salmon, who runs a Medical Transcription Business by the name of “In on Time Medical Transcriptions”.
When she saw my Article, she totally Laughed at the Fact that she has just recently done an Advertising Campaign at a Medical Expo that played on this exact Theme. Victoria had a Very Good run with tons of Profitable Leads at the Expo and she was able to Demonstrate through her Visuals to the Best in the Traditional Format with a Transparency Twist and “High Tech” Speed and that is currently readily available. I think this is a Great Example of someone who gets the idea of Connecting the “Old World”with the “New World” to their Best Advantage, and knows how to Maximise its Market Value. What was most Interesting was that people can Relate. The Advertisement Compelled to its Audience, and of course, they Loved it.
The use of combining the “Old & New” helps build Rapport with People, which Creates Attraction and Adds Value to the Message of the Advertisement. I think this is a Great Example, and Well Done to Victoria!
My Advice and Thinking on this one? Take the Best out of Both Worlds to Enrich your Business and to Suit the Message you are trying to get Across, even Consider Marketing the Matter of Fact Explicitly. This has been a Great Case Study for a Different Approach and New Ideas. So what is the Message you are trying to get Across?
