One EPIC Profitable Marketing Forum. God bless to all you wonderful people!
Today was powerhouse day in which I am now coming down from some long hours, lots of work and a little bit of stress after achieving VICTORY.
Being this wonderful Wednesday 12th July 2017; I ran what was easily the best PROFITABLE Marketing Forum and loved every part of it. The content. The people. The staff. The location. The space. It all added up.
What I have really explored lately in life and completely understood is how ‘Victory’ comes from many things done well. In term of live events location is everything. When you have the right people in the right location it leads to incredibly enjoyable experiences.
Victory Corporate Serviced Offices (Sydney CBD) was a wonderful host and I heard many times attendees of the Forum giving genuine compliments as to the place. This included great lines such as:
- “Wow the staff are really nice”
- “They have a Barista. Wonderful!”
- “I love the view out the window”
- “The boardroom is really swish”
- “I love the cool wall paper”
- “People are so friendly here”
- “It’s a fun place to work”
- “I love it”
There were plenty more statements than this and of course the content was wonderful and the like; the actual space makes an incredible difference to how people perceive your event and what they get from it.
To me a great venue works more on the subconscious mind. People without evening consciously engaging are thinking “Wow, this is impressive”. When people think from this viewpoint it just makes the content, the knowledge and the camaraderie add to the experience.
My advice and thinking? There takes a lot to run a successful workshop and the right people in the right space / location makes it all that bit better.
You don’t want your content to be undermined by anything and talking to the positive; a beautiful space (such as Victory Corporate Serviced Offices) makes it all that much better. I can’t wait till I get back there.
