Hello Awesome People!
During our Free Squeeze Business Networking Event tonight, I was very lucky to see Natural Health Expert Eli Huang in action.
If you haven’t met her yet, I bet many of you reading this blog will one day and see her raw energy and style in action.
She is this powerful, insightful, strong and driven Natural Health Practitioner that has basically “Had Enough” of her clients getting pushed around by General Practitioners and Pharmaceutical Companies when it comes to core issues such as Over-Prescriptions, Kick-Backs, Government Protection and selling “Legal” Addictable Substances (with some borderlining on illegal narcotics when it comes to their effects on the human body).
With some great help from Public Speaking Expert Mark Kyte, Eli delivered a very compelling, no doubt profitable and very SHOCKING presentation that really got people sitting back in their seat thinking “Wow”. Overall it was one of our best presentations & keynote speakers over the years at our Squeeze Business Networking Event and what impressed me was how she grabbed the audience.
Eli took a very intelligent opening & approach by basically reading out some scary stats in relation to side-effects of prescriptions and even got the audience thinking about the money-hungry drive of pharmaceuticals with a very simple question which I can best recall as:
– “Who here in the audience thinks that Pharmaceutical Companies really care about you before profits?”
Evidently no one put their hands up and her telling of the facts, asking disturbing questions and then offering some great solutions gave an amazing presentation that left people on the edge of their seats, asking key questions and of course spending time with Eli at the end showing interest in her Health Services and the like.
It was powerful and it came back to the fundamentals of any public speaking – you got to grab the audience! Be it with powerful questions, shocking with great facts, inspiring with great ideas or whatever the like – you got bring them into your realm and line of thinking.
Eli Huang did it with pure “Shock & Awe” and there are plenty of great ways of doing it.
My advice and thinking? Be it you are a Technical Engineer or a Pure Motivational Speaker, experiment and find the right way to grab your audience. That makes your speaking more fun, easier and of course more profitable and effective.
