Over the past few months my life has changed on many levels for the better. I have lost all my excess weight, I am super fit, my events have more people and my Awesome Marketing Vault is strong and growing.
As conditions have changed for the better, I am getting more time to reflect, enjoy and think through how this has all played out and what it all means.
Interestingly I have been thinking lots about this and a Saturday afternoon with Joanne T Cox really gave some useful perspective and understanding. She invited me to attend one of her events with her wonderful friends.
The awesome Joanne and I go back years and I met her very early on in my business when I used to run events in Parramatta (Western Sydney). We stayed connected, however lost direct contact for some years.
I was running a recent Workshop / Seminar and the awesome Joanne popped into my mind.
I invited her, she showed up and it was just like only a day had passed since we saw each other Face to Face (it was about 3 years). We instantly connected and have started supporting each other which has been just wonderful. She is kicking butt (which is an understatement) in World Global Network and has built herself an incredible profitable team.
Joanne invited me along to an event being run at UNSW (the University of New South Wales) to meet her team and THEY ARE WINNERS.
I don’t mean they are loaded, or own their own small islands or anything in this context (although I bet some there may), I mean they are ‘winners’ based on their ambition, orientation, helpfulness and drive to improve their lives regardless of the cards they have been given.
For whatever right or wrong, holy or unholy reasons we all start off and wind up in different parts in life. That is a great spiritual discussion (for another article), but a ‘winner’ is a person that is totally committed to improvement regardless of where they are.
I used to live in my car once. You may have a million dollars in the bank. Great! Now what? How do we take what we have to create incredible lives for ourselves and the community around us? Joanne has answered that question. She is a winner and she is helping those who join her become winners.
I love that.
My advice and thinking? Besides Joanne being awesome (and you should friend her / say hello), don’t get too caught up in what you don’t have / all the bad things that have happened to you.
There are spiritual reasons which is a great discussion to have, but it still doesn’t change the decisions you must make. Strive for more, turn around your luck or build on whatever incredible luck you have. Make sure as well you only hang out with WINNERS. This may of course require a few difficult (but very rewarding) decisions.
Love your work, thanks for the read and thank you Joanne, Christelle, John, Johnita and friends for a wonderful day!
Like, share, enjoy and say hello to wonderful Joanne!
