Walking the Streets of Sydney with the Amazing & Wonderful Matt Craig Today. I am very lucky to work with this genius of an operator and have him as my Digital Agency looking after my fine website!
Some years ago when I was broke and washed up – I eventually got out of “Victim” mode and gave myself another shot at life. I started my Marketing Consulting Business and I was going out to Networking Events looking to meet new people, get new clients and get my life back on track.
In my first week, I met this very kind Filipino Australian by the name of Matt Craig from “MindArc Digital Agency”. When I first met him, I was immediately taken back by his kindness and we instantly connected. He was one of my FIRST COFFEE chats ever too and one of my first EVER PAYING CLIENTS who I have been proud to work with to this day.
He has also been the amazing man who has build my websites and helped me really master my own Online Marketing. Today he has a great business partner by the name of Sean Pieres, has 6+ full time staff with more coming, is a well established leader in the eCommerce space in Sydney and also helped us get 4Networking Australia off the ground.
What I find amazing about Matt is that I watched him build an amazing business FROM SCRATCH through many days of hard work, tons of business networking, coffee chats, building referral partners and just day in and day out – loving what he does and doing purely exceptional work. As I tell his story I find it amazing and think about this for a second:
“How competitive is it to build Websites?”
If you just think about all the Developing World / SPAM emails you get, it helps answer this question very quickly.
The question is, how did Matt Craig do it? How did he build a business from scratch? In once sentence this is my view of why:
“Because he is awesome, he worked night and day, 100% flexible and ethical to his clients, was flexible to change and hired the right people”
Of course there is much more to this, but in concept – this is exactly how I watched Matt Craig succeed in his business. My advice and learning? Many of us in business start out with nothing (like Matt and I did) and with a great business concept, tons of love & hard work – any amazing results are possible in just a few years.
Well done to Matt Craig again and *he did* take me for a spin in his new car today. Very nice it was.
