WeWork makes our Meetups great. We love their work!
I had a really good Meetup last night at WeWork Pyrmont (Sydney).
Check that; it was a great Meetup. Easily the best group I’ve ever run. My wonderful wife and I on the way back home were talking about why it was so great and it was a compelling discussion on many levels.
As we spoke about it, we concurred in how WeWork is the right type of place for us. Besides it’s beautiful design, one of my friends who came to our Meetup last night summed it up beautifully:
- “This place just has the right vibe that I’m all about”
That is, as my friend arrived, she felt the “WeWork Vibe” that aligned with her on many levels. As we unpacked this thinking, this came heavily down to the positivity of WeWork. Be it you speak to their staff, a tenant there, sit there and have a cup of tea or more; the places just puts in you in a positive mood.
I recently moved into WeWork Pyrmont myself too and it’s had dramatic impacts on my own mental well-being, clarity, mood and more. It’s just the right place.
My advice and thinking? If there isn’t a WeWork in your city, mail them and beg them to open one up. If there is, go for a visit, site tour, sit there for a while and check it out.
